Health Education Alternatives for Teens (HEAT) Program PDF Print E-mail
The HEAT Program offers case management to approximately 20 HIV positive youth between the ages of 13-24 and provides supportive counseling and mentoring, referrals to community services, transportation and intake for medical care.

Access Advocacy for Children PDF Print E-mail

Through the Access Advocacy program, over 200 children affected or infected by HIV/AIDS annually are linked with a child advocate who can identify appropriate service providers and help speed up service delivery. Staff and volunteers also work to meet a variety of basic needs for children, including seasonal holiday gifts, summer camp sessions, tutoring, and donations of baby furniture (cribs, strollers, car seats and high chairs), twin beds, or computers for school use.

PALS Mentoring PDF Print E-mail

PALS mentoring program recruits and trains volunteers who serve as mentors to approximately 20 children infected or affected by HIV/AIDS. Mentors organize regular activities for their kids, serve as adult role models, and provide respite to the HIV positive parent or caregiver.

Transportation PDF Print E-mail
NOVAM’s Transportation Program provides more than 20,000 one-way rides annually to nearly 300 low-income people living with HIV/AIDS to access essential medical and social services.  NOVAM’s program combines van driven rides, volunteer drivers, and underwritten fares for public transportation and taxicabs to help individuals adhere to their medical regimes.
